The Priest Synopsis:

A little girl from the orphanage joins a missionary school. This girl is known for being mischievous, rude and not studying. She is not normal. Many teachers in the same school have been trying to figure out what is wrong with her. A new teacher joins the school and she tries changing the girl. This girl also loves the teacher. Soon, they become so attached that this girl goes to the teacher’s house for summer vacation. That’s when things start going wrong. Meanwhile, a series of murders in the city make headlines every day.

A father, who is a para psychologist, is dealing with this case and nobody knows why he is working on it. To know the connection between the Father, Teacher, and the child, you need to watch this flick on Amazon Prime Video.

The Priest Review:

A film with a good plot, twist, screenplay and performances, make The Priest an interesting film with each scene. Initially, you may find the film not so interesting... especially with the school episode. But slowly, as it picks up the pace, you will love it.

Nikhila Vimal plays the teacher in the film and Baby Monica plays the child. It is worth saying that the girl has done an amazing job. She was superb on screen and her performance is nothing less than any other actor in the film. Mammootty played Father Carmen Benedict and as usual, just like how he has been doing for ages now, he has done a great performance. Manju Warrier plays a key role in this film and she has teamed up with Mammootty for the firt time in her career. She is also a great performer and that shows on the screen. The film is directed by Jofin T Chacko and he has done a good job. The screenplay, dialogues, thrill, suspense, and everything from the film is nothing less than properly served platter. There is no lag, bore or extra scenes that will distract you from the plot.

Everything is to the point. Camera work is great and so are the locations. The twists and turns are unpredictable and credits go to Jofin.

The Priest Verdict:

A must watch thriller that will surely leave you thrilled.
