Earlier in her career, Kingsbury wrote for Aaron Sorkin's "The Newsroom" on HBO. Her additional credits include "Sin City Saints" and "Back In The Game". On the feature side, Kingsbury rewrote "The Lovebirds", starring Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae, and directed by Michael Showalter, for Paramount.
