'Pushpa 2: The Rule' collected Rs. 1831.50 crore worldwide by the end of its 25-day theatrical run, cementing its position as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. The Allu Arjun-starrer continues to hold strong across domestic and international circuits despite entering its fourth week.
The film's domestic total stands at Rs. 1210.45 crore nett, translating to Rs. 1428.13 crore gross. Overseas territories contributed Rs. 403.37 crore gross to the worldwide tally. The numbers reflect sustained footfalls in both Hindi and Telugu markets, with the Hindi version accounting for a significant portion of the domestic haul.
Directed by Sukumar, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' opened on December 5, 2024, and recorded the biggest opening day for an Indian film. The sequel to 2021's 'Pushpa: The Rise' has outpaced its predecessor's lifetime collection within the first two weeks. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprise their roles alongside Allu Arjun in the Mythri Movie Makers production.
The film's performance in the Hindi belt has been particularly notable. Trade analysts attribute the sustained run to strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership. The action sequences and Allu Arjun's screen presence have been cited as key drivers of audience retention.
'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is now eyeing the Rs. 2000 crore milestone globally. The film continues to play in over 3000 screens across India, with select international markets still reporting healthy occupancy rates. The extended theatrical window positions it as a major contender in the year-end box office rankings.
