EC Rule To Advertise Crime Record Of Candidates Thrice May Help In Transparency
Kochi: The rule issued by the Election Commission in 2018 asking candidates to advertise their crime records thrice in media is expected to make the election process more transparent. A violation in this order, which is part of the Model Code of Conduct to be followed by the candidates, may result in the disqualification of the candidate. The upcoming polls are the first election to be held after the rule was issued by the EC.
