It's two snaps for Wednesday as Netflix announces the second season of the record-breaking smash hit will be available exclusively on Netflix. Details about season two and other material will be released later. Jenna Ortega plays the series' main character. The series follows Wednesday Addams as she spends her years as a student at Nevermore Academy trying to master her developing psychic ability. She tries to stop a horrific killing spree that has terrorized the neighbourhood, and solve the murder mystery that involved her parents 25 years ago. She has done this all while juggling her new and complicated relationships at Nevermore.

 
The show's creators, showrunners, and executive producers, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar took part in an interview with Tudum. They said, “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world. Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.” Wednesday, produced by MGM Television, has had a profound cultural impact in the fields of entertainment, the internet, music, fashion, and beauty.
 
Wednesday has become one of the most popular Netflix shows ever since its launch in November 2022. It is ranked No. 2 on the Most Popular (English) TV list. 1.237 billion hours have been watched in its first 28 days. Since its premiere, the series has been watched in more than 182 million households. (1.237B hours divided by 6.8 hours). Only three weeks after its release, Wednesday surpassed the 1 billion hour view threshold, becoming the third game to do so in its first 28 days, following Stranger Things 4 and Squid Game.
 
The famous dance scene from Wednesday has gone viral on international social media. Lady Gaga's "Bloody Mary" was featured in fan-made content. This increased the song's Spotify streaming by more than 1,800% when compared to the month before the start of the series. Lady Gaga even got in on the fun. Fans can't get enough of the cast's reaction to the classic dance scene video, which has had over 80 million views and counting.
