Vikram Prabhu bags role in Madras Talkies new project
After the stupendous success of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam Madras Talkies in planning to produce a project helmed by Daya who was a former associate. He earlier directed by film Padai Veeran starring Vijay Yesudas, Bharathiraja in the lead roles. This film received a great reception from the critics for its taking. Vikram Prabhu bags role in this new project produced by Maniratnam, the maverick director also penning dialogues for this film.
Aishwarya Rajesh who in top form with success of Kanaa, Vada Chennai to play the sister role of Vikram Prabhu. Premam fame Madonna Sebastian to play female interest of Vikram Prabhu in this movie. Much acclaimed 96' movie music directed by Govind Vasantha on board to score music. Initially, GV Prakash Kumar was in talks to compose music for this project as he is busy acting in the films due to nonavailability of dates he pulled out of the project. Recently he was seen as main lead in Rajiv Menon's directorial Sarva Thaala Mayam. As he is occupied also on the acting side, the number of films he is scoring music has been considerably reduced.
Though Aishwarya Rajesh on top of the form with consecutive hits and also busy with the new project still opted to play the role sister to Vikram Prabhu, it is said that the role has great importance and also performance oriented. It's been a while Madonna Sebastian acted in a movie. She was last seen in Kavan opposite Vijay Sethupathi. Hope she will be back on track with the movie.
