Venkatesh, who delighted Telugu audiences this year with 'F3: Fun and Frustration directed by Anil Ravipudi, is now preparing to film his next, which is rumored to be a Telugu version of the Tamil film 'Oh My Kadavule.' The film is named 'Ori Devuda' in Telugu, and it will also include young Telugu actor Vishwak Sen is another crucial part, while Venkatesh will reprise his role as Vijay Sethupathi.
'Oh, My Kadavule,' a love fantasy film, was a runaway success in Tamil in 2020. In addition to making her Tollywood acting debut, Bollywood actress Mithila Palkar will portray the female protagonist in the Telugu version.
Venkatesh is said to have begun filming his part in Hyderabad yesterday and would play a god in the film. Ashwath Marimuthu, who helmed the original 'Oh My Kadavule,' would apparently direct the Telugu version as well, with PVP Cinema and Sri Venkateshwara Creations co-funding the film.
Venkatesh will also make his Bollywood debut in Salman Khan's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan,' in which fellow Telugu actors Pooja Hegde and Jagapathi Babu will play major parts with Venkatesh as the film's second star. 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' will be released in the year 2023.
