Mega hero Varun Tej marked his debut as a lead actor with 'Mukunda' movie. Directed by Srikanth Addala, Pooja Hegde played the female lead in this movie which marked her second film in Telugu. The film opened up well at the box-office and created a unique buzz with the teaser itself. The best and surprising part of the movie is that there are absolutely no dialogues in the movie between Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde.
Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Abhimanyu Singh, Ali, Raghu Babu, Satyadev Kancharana etc. played crucial roles in the movie which released on December 24th, 2014. So, the movie has finally completed 5 years since its release and the fans have been remembering some memorable scenes and dialogues from the film. Also, the fans are congratulating Varun Tej for completing half a decade in TFI. Though the movie did not score big at the box office,it impressed the audience and received a decent response. Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Srinivas under Leo Productions bankrolled this project. Mickey J Meyer composed tunes for this film.
On the work front, Varun recently scored a big hit in the form of Gaddalakonda Ganesh and he plans to come up with a new one on boxing.
