Slowly, mainstream film actors are testing their luck in the digital arena. Till now, we have seen many Indian actors juggling between films and web shows. Now, popular actors Shashank and Priyadarshi have joined that list. They have acted together in an upcoming web series called Loser. This web series will premiere on Zee5 from the 15th of this month. Ahead of its premiere, the makers have released the trailer of it. Going by it, the show looks like an emotional sports drama.
Loser spans over two decades and deals with the stories of three sports aspirants. In the 1990s, we see Shashank as a state-level bowler, who loses his place in the team due to short-temper. In the late 1990s, we see Annie as an aspiring badminton player, whose dreams get shattered due to the lack of support from her parents. Then, there is Priyadarshi who played the role of a rifle shooter. His story is set in the late 2000s. Even though he is the best in the sport, he doesn't get selected to the nationals as he couldn't bribe the officials. How destiny makes these three people meet, forms the rest of the story. The trailer looked extremely intriguing and we have to see what's in store for us. Especially, the dialogues will hit you hard and get connected with most of the youngsters out there.
Loser got bankrolled by popular production house Annapurna Studios. Kalika Ganesh, Sayaji Shinde, and Satya Krishnan played the other important roles in this series.
