Tollywood's Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) fund started by Chiranjeevi helping more than 12000 families till now

Under the leadership of Chiranjeevi, Tollywood has set up a fundraising institution called Corona Crisis Charity (CCC). The fund raised under CCC will get donated to the poor and daily wage workers of the Telugu film industry. Chiranjeevi recently said that more than 12000 needy families got identified until now. On a daily basis, 600 people are being distributed with basic essentials like dal, rice, oil, and vegetables, which will be sufficient for 10 days.

Chiranjeevi also said that 25 volunteers got selected to distribute these supplies at the doorsteps. The members of CCC are also planning to continue helping them if the lockdown gets extended. The team is also requesting industrialists to donate towards this fund. The Telugu film industry has successfully managed to track down and list all the people who are in need now. Chiru also thanked each and every person who donated for CCC until now.

As we all know, the country is under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. This has made all the shoots get canceled. Thus, all the daily wage workers and poor workers of the film industry left with no income source. In order to help them, industry bigwigs came together and formed this CCC. Almost all the heroes of Telugu film industry have donated their bit to CCC. Chiranjeevi has also thanked them publicly on Twitter. Mostly as the lockdown might get extended, the members of CCC are now planning to raise more funds. The team of CCC includes D. Suresh Babu, Tamareddy Bharadwaj, C. Kalyan, Damu, N. Shankar, Banerjee, and Meher Ramesh.
