Star heroine Tamannaah is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film Seetimaarr. Directed by Sampath Nandi, this film features the Baahubali actress as a Kabaddi coach. While Tamannah is essaying the role of the Telangana State Kabaddi team's coach, Gopichand is playing the role of Andhra Kabaddi team's coach. The actress has also learned the Telangana dialect to look more authentic in the character.
Speaking in a recent interview with the Times of India, Tamannaah said that it is really challenging to get the slang of Telangana right. But director Sampath Nandi is helping her in the process. She hoped that she can pull it off well. As she is playing the role of a Kabaddi coach, it is important to look fit and lean. Thus, Tamannaah stuck to a vegetarian and gluten-free diet. Her workout regime now includes strength training as well as yoga.
Tamannah recently completed 15 years in the films and she wants to take up more challenging films from now. For the same reason, she signed this film with a sports backdrop. It is the first sports drama of Tamannaah and thus, she is very excited about it. As she never played Kabaddi, Tamannaah learned the nuances of the sport with the help of real-life Kabaddi players. Tamannaah also revealed that she wants to do a dance-based film sometime soon. She wished that she can make something like the ABCD series in Telugu.
Tamannah, on the other side, is still awaiting the release of her pending project, 'That is Mahalakshmi.' That is Mahalakshmi is the official remake of the Hindi film Queen.
