Sumanth regrets acting in two films alongside Nageshwara Rao and Nagarjuna

Sumanth had a good launchpad to enter into the industry. He entered the industry as the grandson of Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and nephew of Nagarjuna. But for some reason, Sumanth failed to attain stardom in the industry. The actor revealed that acting along with Nagarjuna and Nageshwara Rao in a couple of films is the biggest mistake in his career.

Speaking in a recent interview, Sumanth said that he still regrets acting in the film Snehamante Idhera. The film featured Nagarjuna as the other lead hero. Sumanth said that he realized that the film will not work out right in the midway of the shoot. But he was unable to do anything. Snehamante Idhera was the remake of Malayalam film Friends. Later, it got remade into Tamil with the same title. Both the versions have worked well at the box office. But somehow, it failed to do well in Telugu. Sumanth feels that audiences couldn't digest him and Nagarjuna playing as friends. Sumanth also said that he had a tough time while he had to slap Nagarjuna in one of the scenes.

Sumanth acted with Nageshwara Rao in the film Pelli Sambhandam. He stated that he did the film upon the insistence of K. Raghavendra Rao. But in the end, it failed to do well at the box office. Sumanth said that he shouldn't have done these tow films and the only reason he did them was to share screen space with his grandfather and uncle. Sumanth will soon come up with the film Kapatadhari. It is an official remake of Kannada film Kavaludhari.
