Rhea Chakraborty Shares Video Returning To Sets For The First Time In 3 Years

Actress Rhea Chakraborty has shared a video from her vanity van as she prepared to face the camera for the first time in three years. The 28-year-old actor had been away from the camera since being accused of involvement in the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and serving time in jail. Chakraborty is now one of the gang leaders for season 19 of MTV Roadies, alongside Gautam Gulati and Prince Narula, while Sonu Sood will host the show.

Sharing a video from her makeup room on Thursday, Chakraborty expressed her joy at being back on set, writing on Instagram, "It’s been a long waiting game. Being back on set, back to work is a joy I can’t describe. Heart full of gratitude, raring to go. Thank you to all of you for your love and support. Times have been hard, but your love has been real. BRB - crying happy tears. #rhenew #resillience." In the video, Chakraborty is seen getting her makeup done in the vanity van and is asked how it feels to be back on set. She responds, "So, I haven't shot in three years and I am back on set. Vanity van is feeling all new, hair and makeup hasn't happened in a while. Strangely enough when I shot three years ago, it was on this very set, in this vanity van for Chehre. I am back here after three years. Universe has strange ways. Overwhelming and excited, welcome back to me." While some fans welcomed her back, many continued to blame Chakraborty for Rajput's death in the comments section. Nevertheless, the actor remains focused on her career and looks forward to a brighter future.
