Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in the country and has a plethora of releases lined up in the years to come. One of them is the Hindi biggie Adipurush, an action drama based on the epic Ramayana. Krithi Sanon is the heroine and Om Raut has directed it. The film is set to release on the 12th of January 2023.
But ever since the teaser was released, there has been so much controversy about VFX and other aspects of the film. The teaser received a good amount of trolling for making a mockery of the visuals with enhanced graphics. All this made Prabhas and his team postpone the film to summer 2023.
But now we have come to know that the film is also out of summer 2023 and will release only in June 2023. All this is due to the re-work that is being done for the VFX which will cost the makers 100 crores extra. The depiction of key characters in Ramayana has not gone well with many. Also, there is also news that some key scenes of the film will also be re-shot once again in a green mat which will cost extra.
The film also faced its share of controversies as the home minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra was quite upset with the director Om Raut. He has released a statement saying that the character of Hanuman is shown wearing leather clothes which are made up of animal skin. This he says is not correct and if not removed from the film, he will take legal action.
