Ranveer Singh meets director Shankar in Chennai

Director Shankar is known for making larger than life films on mammoth budgets. With his spectacle films, he aims to take audience to a place that they have never been to. However, the last couple of years have been quite rough for director Shankar. From shelving his production venture Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei to facing a fallout with 2.0 producers over the budget of Indian 2, he has been dragged in several controversies. Shankar is now waiting to resume the shooting of Indian 2, which is expected to begin after Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections end.

Meanwhile, Shankar announced his next film with Ram Charan, which will be made in multiple langauges. It looks like director Shankar is on a film signing spree. Recently, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh flew down to Chennai to listen to a script rom director Shankar. According to reports, Ranveer was impressed by the script, which will be pan-Indian film. However, nothing has been finalised regading the film as of now. Since Shankar's film with Ram Charan will go on floors in 2022, it will take at least two more years for the film to materialise.
