Prithviraj-Shaji Kailas’s Kaduva entered the 50 crore club. Prithviraj himself was informed about this through Twitter. The film entered the 50 crore club within weeks of its release.

The film is jointly produced by Prithviraj Productions and Listyn Stephen's Magic Frames. Kaduva was written by Ginu Abraham, the director of Adam John and screenwriter of London Bridge and Masters.
Kaduva will start streaming on 4th August on OTT through Amazon Prime Streaming. At the same time, Kaduvakunnel Kuruvachan approached the court with a demand to block the OTT release of Kaduva.
Kaduva was released on July 7 after a long legal battle. According to the court ruling, the title of the lead role played by Prithviraj was changed from Kaduvakkunnil Kuruvachan to Kuryachan.
But Kuruvachan's new complaint is that the version in which Kuryachan's name has been changed was shown only in India, and the name of the film released in foreign countries is Kuruvachan.
