Prakash Raj To Play A Crucial Role In Vamshi's Thalapathy 66?

Two weeks ago, director Vamshi Paidipally made it official that he will be directing Thalapathy Vijay next. The film, which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sree Venkateshwara Creations. While the makers announced that the film will be a big-budget entertainer, they haven't spoken about the cast and crew of the film. The pre-production work is currently underway and the film is expected to go on floors later this year. Yesterday, rumors were doing the rounds that Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar's daughter Sitara is in talks to play an important role in the film. However, there has been no official update regarding the same.

Now, reports suggest that Thalapathy 66 will see the epic reunion of Vijay and Prakash Raj. Vijay and Prakash Raj had earlier acted in several films including Ghilli, Sivakasi, Pokkkri, and Villu. Of these films, their combination worked the best in Dharani's Ghilli. After almost 12 years, the successful duo will be reuniting for a film. Their last collaboration was in 2009. Prakash Raj took to a TV interview to confirm his inclusion in Vijay's Thalapathy 66. Soon, the makers will announce the cast and crew.
