Pelli Choopulu producer Raj Kandukuri built a Dhyana Mandir in the memory of his father; scholar Changanti Koteshwara Rao inaugurated it

Raj Kandukuri is a well-known producer in the Telugu film industry, who bankrolled films like Pelli Choopulu and Mental Madhilo. His father Kandukuri Sivananda Murthy was a well-known scholar and humanist. He is fondly called as Sadguru Sivananda Murthy by his followers. Sivananda Murthy had passed away a couple of years back but his followers and Raj Kandukuri are taking forward his legacy. Raj Kandukuri built a Dhayana Manir in Bheemili recently in the memory of his father. Popular scholar Changanti Koteshwara Rao has inaugurated this Dhyana Mandir the other day. Raj Kandukuri also stated that it was his brother Basava Raju's dream to construct this memorial. He posted the pictures of the inauguration and tweeted, "A Dhyaana Mandir built in my father's memory in Bhimili was inaugurated by Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswar Rao Garu. A sculpture of a father is installed. It was a dream of my late brother Sri Basava Raju Garu whose contribution towards planning and execution of this was impeccable." Raj Kandukuri and his family members are doing various things in taking his father's legacy forward. On the career front, he recently produced the film Choosi Choodangane, directed by Sesha Sindhu Rao. His son Shiva Kandukuri made his debut with this film. On the work front, Raj Kandukuri is yet to take a final call on his next project. He is considering a couple of scripts and will make a decision in a few days.
