An American black comedy web television series created by Liz Feldman which premiered on 3rd May 2019 on Netflix. The series stars Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini as two grieving women bond during therapy. In June 2019, Netflix renewed for the second season of the series. The new original Spanish series will premiere on Netflix worldwide on 8th May, based on the novels by Elísabet Benavent. Diana Gomez stars in the series and the author herself served as a creative consultant for the adaptation. The series tells the story of a writer in crisis, because of her novels and marriage to Adrian, played by Ibrahim AI Shami and the emotional distance between them. Valeria takes asylum in her three closest companions: Lola, Carmen, and Nerea, who bolster her during her journey. Valeria and her friends are inundated in a tornado of feelings about love, friendship, desire, betrayal, secrets, works, worries, joy, and dreams about the future.
Chichipatos
Translated as ‘The Unremarkable Juanquini’ in English, follows the story of a magician Juan Morales (Antonio Sanint). He is funny, silly, and everything but a magician with skills his family is embarrassed by him. The comedy shoe explores the misadventure of a funny and “not so great” magician and how his magic leads to the mishap. The show will release with all the seven episodes together on 15th May.
I Love You, stupid
Netflix's upcoming original, I Love You, Stupid starring Quim Gutiérrez, Natalia Tena, and Alfonso Bassave is a romantic comedy film. After Marcos (Quim Gutiérrez) in his 30s is dumped by his girlfriend and loses his job on the same day, he turns his life around and reinvents himself as a modern man with the help of a childhood friend and an online guru.
White Lines
In 2018, there was an announcement that the creators of La Casa de Papel (Money Heist), Alex Pina will be coming with a new series soon. White Lines is a Spanish- British mystery thriller series directed by Nick Hamm, Luis Prieto, Ashley Way, and Alvaro Brechner which is going to release on 15th May at Netflix.
