Collection King Mohan Babu owns an educational institution named Sree Vidyaniketan Institutions in Tirupati. He offers education from KG to PG over there. Every year, the actor has a habit of celebrating his birthday at the institute as a part of its annual day celebrations. But this time, he has decided to postpone the celebrations due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Mohan Babu announced the news through a press note.
 
The actor's note read, "I have started Sree Vidyaniketan Educational Institutions in 1992. Every year, on the 19th of March, I celebrate my birthday over there as a part of annual day events. I love to celebrate the occasion with the students, staff, and parents over there. This tradition is continuing for the past 27 years. For the first time, the chain is getting broken. As coronavirus is spreading across the country, I have decided to postpone the celebrations of my birthday and Vidyaniketan's annual day. The further date will get announced later. I also request my fans not to come to visit me on my birthday. Your health is my utmost priority and let us give importance to it." Mohan Babu also sent his advance Ugadi wishes to all his fans and followers.
 
On the career front, Mohan Babu has recently acted in the film Soorarai Pottru which features Suriya as the lead. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film got titled Akashame Nee Haddhura in Telugu. It is gearing up for the release this summer. Mohan babu played the role of an Indian Air Force Major in the film.
