Manjula Ghattamaneni urges people to self-quarantine amidst coronavirus outbreak

As the coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire, the entire world is getting into panic mode. Many countries have ordered a lockdown. All the governments are asking their citizens to stay safe by maintaining social distance and self-quarantining themselves. Even popular celebrities are doing their bit in spreading awareness among the people. Noted actress-turned-producer Manjula Ghattamaneni also urged people to cut down all the connections and stay self-quarantined for a while.

In a Facebook post, Manjula wrote, "It’s high time we voluntarily cut down the risk factors for ourselves and others. By not going out when not required, not moving in crowds, we cut down the risk of being affected and becoming carriers for the rest. We as responsible citizens should comply with the country’s plea and regulate with what is asked of us. #covid19 #fightback #selfquarentinemode. Never the less, don’t forget to smile. Kill panic, Stay aware and away from rumours. Be happy. #InternationalDayofHappiness." Manjula also asked the people to be happy on the occasion of the International Day of Happiness. Manjula is an active user of social media and she regularly interacts with her followers. She is the daughter of veteran actor Superstar Krishna and elder sister of Mahesh Babu. Manjula made her entry into films with the movie show. Directed by Neelakanta, she played the lead role in the film. After that, Manjula acted in other movies like Orange and Kavya's Diary. She produced movies like Pokiri and Ye Maya Chesave. Manjula turned as a director as well with the 2018 film Manasuku Nachindi.
