Mahesh Bhatt Lauds The Brahmastra Team, Calls The Movie A Quantum Leap

Since its debut, "Brahmastra" has been shattering all box office records. The movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt brought in over 300 crores. Fans and critics alike praised the movie, particularly its jaw-dropping visuals and sound effects. Mahesh Bhatt, Alia's father, and a director, too lauded the film and called it a "quantum leap."

Mahesh also lauded Ayan Mukerji's vision and expressed his awe at Brahmastra in an interview. He said that after watching the movie, he realized that it represented a quantum leap, and he added that he has no qualms in referring to Ayan as the "James Cameron" of Indian filmmaking.

He expressed appreciation for Ayan's talent and claimed that he is one of the filmmakers who would emerge and produce works of art that are on par with the best media produced worldwide.

When questioned about the film's reception abroad, he said it's encouraging to see the audience mesmerized by something that has roots in India. Although they have local roots, their packaging and appearance are fairly modern. "It exudes an Indian spirit. It originates from his own DNA and gene pool”.

It took about six years to create the legendary play "Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva." Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) is the focus of the movie and the journey he takes to discover his magical superpowers through his special connection to fire. Shah Rukh Khan has a lengthy appearance in the movie, which also features significant roles for Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
