New gen heroes like Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao given biggest blockbusters of their career and sustaining their place in Bollywood. On the other hand, Big stars failed to create their magic at box office Massive Khan trio SRK-Salman-Aamir films bombed at box office. Salman with his star power can create impact at box office till weekend due to its weakest content Race 3 drops terribly. Zero, Thugs of Hindostan failed miserably. This scenario led to the question Khan's era comes to an end? Nawazuddin Siddiqui shares his views when asked about the same.

He opines that we should credit film-makers rather than the actors for the rise of new age cinema in Bollywood. Hindi Cinema is fortunate to have rogue film-makers like Ram Gopal Varma, Anurag Kashyap, Shekar Kapur. The changes they brought into Bollywood is spellbound.
