Kalyani Priyadarshan made her debut with the 2017 film Hello. The film was a box office failure and Kalyani had to wait for one and a half years more for her next release. Finally, her second film Chitralahari released earlier this year. It was a decent hit at the box office. Her third film Ranarangam was again a failure. Even though she doesn't have a good track record, the actress is getting some good offers from all the south Indian film industries.
Currently, she is acting in Malayalam films Marakkar and an untitled picture with Dulquer Salmaan. Kalyani today posted a picture from the sets of her film with Dulquer and tweeted, "When you have to be at the airport in ten minutes and your director decides to take a shot... that’s when the real magic on set happens.. @dulQuer #AnoopSathyan #wayfarerfilms"
Debutant Anoop Sathyan is helming the film. Touted to be a romantic drama, the film will hit the screens early next year. On the flip side, Kalyani also acted in the upcoming Tamil film Hero, which stars Siva Karthikeyan in the lead role. It marks her debut in the Tamil film industry. The film will release on the 20th of this month.
