It Is A Wrap To Mammootty's Kannur Squad; Marks His Comeback To The Cop Persona

After a lengthy production period, Kannur Squad has been wrapped up by Mammootty. The police drama was filmed in numerous locations across the nation. Pune, Mumbai, Mangalore, and parts of UP and Kerala were among the places mentioned. Mammootty Company provided the funding for the movie. There haven't been many details released about the movie's plot as of yet. However, there have been rumours that the movie will be a sizable investigation thriller. Roby Varghese Raj, a well-known cinematographer, makes his directorial debut with this movie. Roby handled the camera during the previous collaboration between the two on the movie The "Great Father."

Mammootty will play an ASI leading a large-scale investigation in the movie. Rony David Raj and Muhammed Shafi are the writers of the screenplay. Rony is the director's brother and a well-known figure in Malayalam cinema. Shabareesh Varma, Rony David, and other leading actors will be part of the ensemble cast for Kannur Squad. Muhammed Rahil is in charge of the cinematography. Sushin Shyam is composing the music. Dulquer Salman's Wayfarer Films will also handle the distribution of the movie. Mammootty has been on an upswing lately, with critically praised films like Rorschach and Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam to his name. Following "Kaathal: The Core," the movie will be Mammootty's next release. Jeo Baby, known for "The Great Indian Kitchen," is the director of the movie. Kannur Squad will have a release date shortly.
