The Telugu film director Harish Shankar, widely known for his work on Gabbar Singh and DJ, criticised Netflix India on Twitter because he felt there was a severe language barrier while dealing with their officials.

For the next Telugu movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar are getting ready to work together once again. He and Pawan are reunited in the film after eleven years. The pair had earlier collaborated on Gabbar Singh, the Dabangg remake in Telugu.
There are rumours that Theri, a Tamil movie, will be remade for Harish and Pawan Kalyan's upcoming project. The project was formally introduced at a puja ceremony in December of last year. Following the release, many fans responded to the rumours that the movie was a remake on Twitter. They demanded in a letter to Harish that the movie have a unique plot.
Ayananka Bose is part of the technical crew for the film. The cinematographer previously worked with Harish Shankar on Duvvada Jagannadham. Anand Sai, Chota K Prasad, Devi Sri Prasad, and action choreographer Ram-Lakshman are part of the film.
Earlier this week, Netflix revealed the Telugu movies that will be available to stream after they released in theatres. The films on the list are Bholaa Shankar by Chiranjeevi, Dasara by Nani, Buddy by Sundeep Krishan, Dhamaka by Ravi Teja, and Tillu Square.
