Gautham Menon is one of the most sensible directors of this generation who is best known for his romantic films as well as cop thrillers. Gautham enjoys a massive fan following in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Thus, all of his films, irrespective of the star cast, gets dubbed into Telugu. Gautham started off his career as an ad filmmaker. He then assisted Rajiv Menon for the film Minsara Kanavu. Gautham made his directorial debut with the film with the 2001 film Minnale. It got dubbed into Telugu as Cheli. Both the versions were hits at the box office. He scored his first blockbuster with Kaakha Kaakha (remade in Telugu as Gharshana).
Gautham currently has two films in hand, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha featuring debutant Varun and Dhruva Natchathiram featuring Vikram as the lead. Both the films will release in this year itself. We wish him a very happy birthday and hope he scores hits this year with both of his films.
