One of the largest films in the South, Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda, flopped miserably both commercially and with audiences, resulting in significant losses for the cast and crew. After the collapse of Liger, Vijay Deverakonda reportedly returned his pay of Rs. 6 crores to the producers as a result of this commercial failure.
Vijay Deverakonda has made the decision to take control of the situation and make up for the loss. Yes, it has been reported that the actor would refund a portion of his performing money to the producers, to the tune of Rs. 6 crores, in an effort to lessen the losses they faced on the movie. However, nothing has been formally revealed; only rumors have been circulating in the tinsel town. Netizens on Twitter are praising Vijay and referring to him as a "genuine hero" despite the fact that it is unclear whether the rumor is true or untrue. Numerous people also believed that Vijay would recover quickly.
Earlier reports stated that director Puri Jagannadh had made the decision to travel to Hyderabad and make up for the losses Liger had caused the distributors. There hasn't been any formal confirmation of this, though.
New reports state that Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming film Jana Gana Mana has been shelved following the total failure of Liger. For those who are unfamiliar, the Jana Gana Mana team has already finished two schedules. The film's leading lady is Pooja Hegde.
The movie's producer, Charmme Kaur, has temporarily disappeared from social media in the wake of these reports. She shared her decision on Twitter, writing,
