Dhanush has had phenomenal 2019 with three big releases. His first release of 2019 was his maiden Hollywood film The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. His other releases were Vetri Maaran's Asuran and Gautham Menon's Enai Noki Paayum Thota. While the former went on to receive rave reviews, the latter received lukewarm reviews.
The actor is presently busy shooting for his upcoming film with director Mari Selvaraj. Meanwhile, he has wrapped up the shooting of his forthcoming film with Karthik Subbaraj. Produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios, the film which has Aishwarya Lekshmi was tentatively titled D 40.
According to the recent reports, the title of D 40 found its way to the Internet Going by the rumors, the film has fixed Suruli as the title. The title might be the name of Dhanush's character in the film. Dhanush will appear in two different looks in the film. The majority of the film had shot in London while the flashback portions shot in Madurai.
Earlier, there were reports that the film had chosen Ulagam Suttrum Vaaliban. However, the makers dismissed the reports and sent out the press statement saying that the title will be officially launched in February.
