These days, films land on streaming platforms in less than two months of their respective releases. Some say that it is affecting the theatrical market while some deny it and argue that it isn't. Anyways, the audiences are getting a chance to watch the films on these sites, which they have missed watching in the theatres.
One of the biggest hits of 2019 is Sai Dharam Tej's Prathi Roju Pandaage. Directed by Maruthi, this film explores the isolation of old aged people whose children stay abroad. The comedy is the major highlight of the film and it is the primary reason which made it a blockbuster at the box-office. People who have missed this film in the theatres can watch it on Amazon Prime Video from February 3.
On the flip side, there is another family-oriented film which has hit the screens in the recent past. It is Kalyan Ram starrer Entha Manchivadavura, directed by Satish Vegesna. The film featured Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead. It got released on January 15th, clashing with other Sankranthi releases like Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo. Unfortunately, it couldn't survive the storm of the other two films and ended up as an unsuccessful attempt. Viewers who couldn't watch it in theatres can catch it up on Hotstar from the 14th of this month.
