Buzz: Vijay Deverakonda to team up with Brochevarevarura director Vivek Athreya for his next

Vijay Deverakonda is one of the busiest actors in the Telugu film industry right now. The actor is making sure to come up with at least one or two films every year. Currently, he is acting in an untitled film which is being directed by Puri Jagannath. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, he will team up with young director Vivek Athreya for his next film. Vivek is best known for his last film Brochevarevarura.

Vivek Athreya made his directorial debut with the 2017 romantic comedy Mental Madhilo. It was his second film Brochevarevarura which brought him wide fame among the audiences. Brochevarevarura is a comedy thriller starring Sri Vishnu, Satya Dev, Nivetha Thomas and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles. It was a decent hit at the box office. According to the sources, Vivek recently narrated a story to Vijay and the latter was mightily impressed by it. Apparently, Vijay asked Vivek to come up with the full-script soon. If everything goes as planned, this new film might go on floors towards the end of this year or early next year.

Meanwhile, Vijay recently wrapped up shooting for a couple of schedules for his upcoming film. This film features Bollywood heroine Ananya Panday as the female lead. It is being bankrolled jointly by Puri Jagannadh, Charmy Kaur and Karan Johar under their respective banners Puri Jagannath Touring Talkies, PC Connects and Dharma Productions. Mani Sharma is composing the music for this movie. The makers are planning to release this film across multiple languages. It will hit the screens towards the end of this year.
