Aishwarya Rai to sign a Bengali actress Biopic

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the leading actors in the Bollywood movie industry. The sensational actress is currently busy working on Mani Ratnam's new movie. Aishwarya Rai wants to do movies at a rapid pace from now and she wants to make sure that things come out well in her career. Also, Aishwarya plans to make maximum public appearances with movies to entertain the fans. The latest buzz from the Bollywood movie industry is that she got approached for an exciting biopic project planned by Pradeep Sarkar.

The biopic is on the life of Notee Binodini. She was an actress in the Bengali film industry. Apparently, the director initially approached Vidya Balan and Deepika Padukone for the project but both did not show interest. The director, without losing hope has reached out to Aishwarya who immediately gave her consent for the movie. The movie depicts the life of 19th century Bengali thespian and actress, Notee Binodini. Binodini Dasi started off as a courtesan but later became an actress and played her first drama role in Calcutta’s National Theatre at the age of 12 in 1874 Aishwarya Rai liked the story and narration in the first sitting and have her nod. The script work is in progress and she is yet to sign the movie.
