Even on the political front, he makes a rare appearance at political events because of his health. In the last year, he has been hospitalized more than twice due to breathlessness, COvid-19, and other ailments. Now, we have come to know that Vijayakanth, his wife Premalatha, and his family members have gone to the US for medical check-up. Photos and videos of Vijayakanth and his family from the airport are going viral on social media. If sources are believed to be true, he and his family members will stay for a few weeks and return to India after his treatment ends.
