Mirna, best known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films, has been cast as the female lead in director Vijay Kanakamedala's Ugram.
The film, which also stars Allari Naresh, has high expectations because Vijay's previous collaboration with the actor, Naandhi, was a huge success. The film's first-look poster, which was recently released, sparked a lot of interest. The lead actor appeared ferocious, with injuries all over his body. Mirna was seen in Mohan Lal's Big Brother, so fans are excited to see her in her second Telugu film.
According to sources, Vijay has written an intriguing script and an intense character for Naresh in the film. Shooting for Ugram will begin soon, and some well-known actors will be cast in key roles. The crew, on the other hand, is almost identical to that of Naandhi. Toom Venkat wrote the story, and Abburi Ravi wrote the dialogues. Sid will be behind the camera and Sricharan Pakala will compose the music. Chota K Prasad is the film's editor, and Brahma Kadali is the production designer.
Naandhi told the story of an innocent man who was wrongfully accused of a crime, faced police brutality, and suffered as a result of the legal system. It remains to be seen what topic Ugram will address.
