Dream Girl Story:

Dream Girl revolves around a small-town boy who can speak in a woman’s voice. The character played by Ayushmann Khurrana uses this talent to get himself a job at a friendship call centre. What happens later forms the rest of the film.

Dream Girl Performances:

Ayushmann Khurrana once again comes up with knockout performance in Dream Girl. Yet and again he proves that he can pull off any role with elan. He plays the character to perfection, getting the nuances right.

Nushrat Bharucha, who plays Ayushmann’s love interest, makes an appearance as good as a cameo. She has less screen time but she made sure that she uses it effectively and does a good job.

Annu Kapoor is terrific with his comedy timing, His transformation from a lonely and disgruntled father to a lovelorn Aashiq is absolutely brilliant.

Vijay Raaz as a poetic Policewala and Manjot Singh of Fukrey fame are impressive in their respective roles.

Dream Girl Positives:

*Dream Girl is one of those films which captivates audiences with its powerful acting and superb direction. Performances are just terrific and everyone needs a special mention in the cast.

*Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl is an out-and-out comedy entertainer with huge ROFL moments throughout the film. The witty one-liners and dialogues are icing on the cake.

*Crisp runtime is another plus point of the movie.

*The film's music is peppy and works well with the script.

Dream Girl Negatives:

*The premise of ‘Dream Girl’ is established beautifully but the problem is it doesn’t go beyond that idea.

*Some stretches felt unnecessary and seemed only like space fillers.

*Another negligible flaw in the movie is it somewhere in between all the laughter, the subject loses its fizz.

Dream Girl Verdict:

The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer "Dream Girl" is a perfect package of entertainment with a sensible and simple message. Ayushmann once again hits it out of the park with his script choice and top-notch acting. The movie has a good screenplay with witty lines and hilarious dialogues. Go out and watch this movie If you are looking for a light-hearted comedy film this weekend.
