Actor Allari Naresh was last seen in Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi which released in 2019. Post that, the actor has been working on some films and finally, his film has released in the theatres, after a long time. The actor’s Bangaru Bullodu, which stars Pooja Jhaveri as the leading lady hit the screens on January 23 and here is the review.
Bhavani Prasad (Allari Prasad) is a bank employee from a small town and he has disputes with his brothers and is suffering because of it. His grandfather is someone who robs a temple and cheats the people in a village and use the money and jewellery for personal use. To fix this issue, that has been troubling their family for some time now, Bhavani Prasad uses this jewellery that has been kept in the bank for loans. This issue becomes pretty much serious and Prasad falls in a soup after the villain steps into the drama. How will this middle-class bank employee manage to solve all this and keep himself safe forms the crux of the story.
Comedy is something that is promised when Allari Naresh is on screen. And it has been a long time that he is seen on screen, in a full-fledged role, and there’s hope for comedy for sure. He played his role well. Praveen, as his friend, has given him good support on-screen. Satyam Rajesh and Prabhas Seenu are the two useless brothers of the film and they lived up to the expectations, and their role. Tanikella Bharani, Pooja Jhaveri, Ajay Ghosh have done good jobs. Posani Krishna Murali is one of the strong pillars of the film. The first half of the film is really good and it keeps up the pace. The basic plot and storyline are written well.
Overall, dialogues have been written well. The village set in the film is quite impressive and looks good. Music and the BGM, both have been decent enough. Giri should have worked on the plot a couple of times because now, the story seems to be a half-baked one.
