Rang De Movie Review

Rang De Story:

Arjun (Nithiin) and Anu (Keerthy Suresh) are friends since childhood but some how, always had a rivalry as well. Their families are good friends with each other. But something intimate in between them, Arjun and Keerthy, happens and they are forced to marry each other. Can two rivals become wife and husband? How will the relationship survive. You need to watch the rest on big screen.

Rang De Review:

It was nice watching Nithiin on screen for the kind of performance he has done. His acting has been much better in the recent times and if you have watched Bheeshma, you will see that he has improved lot. His role is quirky and witty enough for his fans to enjoy. Keerthy Suresh, as usual, has lived up to the expectations of the fans and has done justice to her role. Keerthy Suresh was last seen in Penguin which is was a horror thriller. She played modern girl, who is just like a girl next door. She depicted the emotions really well and undoubtedly, you will fall for her.

Venky Atluri picked up another love story as his third film and has delivered good dose of emotions. The Tom and Jerry life of Anu and Keerthy is shown well. The emotional track in between the lead pair should have been a little better so that more colours are added to the film. Dialogues are written well. PC Sreeram cinematography and Devi’s music are souls of the film. Naresh is definitely an asset to this film. As the father of Nithiin and someone who likes Anu for how good she is, he played all the necessary emotions. There’s a good amount of humour in the film and Venky managed to make all of us laugh as much as he can. Abhinav Gomatam plays a decent role and has done a good performance in this flick. Nice to see him on screen after a long time. In some parts, the screenplay was predictable and narration was slow. Some scenes could have been cut to make it crisp. The production quality is something that we are in awe with. PC Sreeram’s visuals are excellent and nothing less than a visual delight. Devi’s composition is as cool as breeze and the background score is what keeps up the pace of the film.

A must watch entertaining love story of the week.
