Alia Bhatt has shared a beautiful post on the occasion of her and Ranbir Kapoor's one wedding anniversary. She uploaded some previously unreleased photos of them together on Instagram with the comment
as a present to her fans. The first photo was taken during their haldi ceremony; the second was taken during Ranbir's proposal in Africa; and the third is a black-and-white snapshot of them taken at a party.
How content the couple appears to be together can be seen in all three images. In the first image, Ranbir is pictured holding Alia close as haldi is applied to their faces in preparation for their wedding. With a yellow dupatta draped across her shoulders and delicate floral jewels, Alia looks stunning.
The second image appears to depict Alia's response to Ranbir's marriage proposal while they were on holiday in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. During her visit to Koffee With Karan last year, Alia commented on it, saying, “In terms of Ranbir and his planning, he totally blew my mind away because I was not expecting it. We were not even talking about it. We were talking about it for a very long time but then there were so many pandemic delays, that we decided we won’t talk about it. We’ll just go with feeling. And that’s exactly what he did. He didn’t tell anyone. He just carried the ring and he did it in the most amazing place, Maasai Mara.” She said that Ranbir even asked the tour guide to snap pictures of the memorable moment.
The third photo was taken about a month after the birth of their daughter Raha Kapoor. It was when they attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's engagement.
