Minister Gangula Kamalkar Distributes Kalyana Lakshmi Cheques to Beneficiaries
BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Tuesday said Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes were a boon to the poorer sections in society. Speaking after distributing Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to beneficiaries at the District Collectorate here, Kamalakar said the State government was implementing Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes to ring happiness in the lives of the poor. “No other state in the country is implementing such schemes. Not only these, double bedroom, Aasara pensions and other schemes were also being implemented for women’s empowerment,”
