CPI National Secretary Narayana Turns Into Daily Wager
CPI national secretary K Narayana took part as a daily wage laborer along with other workers in lake restoration works for two days at his native village in Chittoor district. He also interacted with NREGA workers. Speaking to the media, he recalled that the Left parties have opposed providing work to rural men and women under the NREGS. Narayana asked the AP government to ensure first-aid kit and buttermilk is available for workers. He also demanded the state government to order social audits for wages paid to the workers.
