Congress Senior Leader M Satyanarayana Rao Funeral Held with State Honours
MSR was a strong proponent of Telangana even in the new millennium. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao mourned the death of MSR and directed the chief secretary to make arrangements for the last rites of MSR to be conducted with official honors. “Satyanarayana Rao had a special style and was known as a straight man in politics,” the chief minister recalled. He extended his deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
