WWE star Roman Reigns will not take part in Wrestle Mania 36 due to the coronavirus scare

Popular WWE star Roman Reigns has decided to opt-out from the upcoming Wrestle Mania 36. He took the decision due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Roman Reigns also informed WWE that he didn't feel comfortable doing any more performance center shows.

Before opting out from the event, Roman Reigns tweeted, "Don’t care where my match falls. Just happy to be healthy and fit enough to participate. Grateful to share the ring with a legend and icon on our industry’s biggest night(s). As should everyone else, in a time like this. Be safe, healthy and grateful." Roman Reigns is actually supposed to fight Goldberg at the event. As he opted out, the organizers of WWE are now searching for an alternative for this match.

Roman Reigns made his comeback in WWE in February last year. Before that, he was battling leukemia for the second time. He made a comeback after getting treated from leukemia successfully. He now backed out from the Wrestle Mania for the very same reason. It seems that the coronavirus will be a great risk for the people who have a bad medical history.

Wrestle Mania will happen as scheduled, said the officials. But there will not be any spectators at the event. The event will live-stream on the internet at 7 pm on the 5th of April. The event was actually supposed to happen at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay. But now, it got moved to the WWE training center in Orlando. Not only Reigns, but a few other wrestlers have also apparently walked out from the event. Their names will be out shortly.
