Will Yash's KGF2 Release Get Posted? Fans Are Eagerly Waiting After The Massive Hit of KGF Chapter 1

Director Prashanth Neel is working on the post-production of his upcoming film, KGF2 starring Rocking Star Yash. The film's shooting was wrapped up earlier this year and is due for a grand release in theatres on July 16. However, due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the film is likely to hit the theatres on the said date The KGF 2 team has barely a month for the release date and there has been no update from the production house, Hombale Films. Hence, rumours are rife that the release of KGF: Chapter 2 will get postponed.

Theatres across the country are still closed. Though the Covid-19 cases are slowly coming down, it is unlikely if the theatres will reopen next month. Even if it does, the theatre occupancy rate will stand at 50 percent. Hence, we will have to see if the producers go ahead with the film's release date. KGF: Chapter 2 is a sequel to the film of the same name. The second part features Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj and Achyuth Kumar in prominent roles. KGF: Chapter 1 released in 2018 and became a blockbuster hit across the country.
