Young Tamil director Kartick Naren scored two back to back hits with his first two films Dhruvangal Pathinaru and Mafia. He has now signed his new film with star hero Dhanush. Tentatively called D43, the shooting of this film will begin this summer. According to the sources, popular Malayalam writer duo Suhas-Sharfu will be contributing to the script of this film. Suhas-Sharfu has earlier worked for acclaimed Malayalam films like Varathan and Virus.
The writer duo will be working with Karthick Naren in this project and will give their valuable inputs to the script. The film is currently in the pre-production stages and will take off during this summer. D43 is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the music for it. The makers have already announced that it will hit the screens this October. The details about the rest of the cast and crew will get announced soon. The film is one of the prestigious films in Tamil, in the current times. The young filmmaker wants to score a big hit and enter the star league of directors in Kollywood film industry. Dhanush pinned many hopes on this film and he is hopeful that Karthick brings him a hit.
On the other side, Dhanush is currently prepping up for the release of his next film Jagame Thandiram, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. This film will release on May 1. He is also acting in Aanand L Rai's Hindi film Atrangi Re and Mari Selvaraj's action drama Karnan.
