It is now prominent news that Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies will release Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, starring Simbu. Ishari K. Ganesh is producing the movie under the banner of Vels Film International; Gautham Vasudev Menon will direct the action drama film. The movie is written by B. Jeyamohan.
Two songs from this film composed by AR Rahman have been released and received well by the fans. Following on from the success of the film Maanadu, Simbu's fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
The film will hit the theatres on September 15. Simbu, Gautham Menon, and AR Rahman had already teamed up in the films Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and Acham in Madamaiyada.
Simbu is playing multiple characters in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Actress Siddhi Idnani will star opposite him in the film. The film features Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Angelina Abraham in supporting roles.
