Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan were spotted together at Laal Singh Chadha. It was an official remake of Forrest Gump, Tom Hanks' Oscar-winning movie. The movie, which was directed by Advait Chandan, also featured prominent roles for Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. Despite having a strong star cast, the movie didn't do well at the box office. It was significantly impacted by the boycott and cancel culture movements. During the film's release, online users could be spotted reposting an old interview in which Aamir discussed "intolerance in India."
It was stated that Aamir is upset with the filmmaker and they do not get along after the movie failed to impress the audience. But on Tuesday night, Advait dispelled the rumours by posting a joyful photo of himself and Aamir from their vacation.
Advait posted a great photo on Instagram to please his followers. The actor-director team, who previously collaborated in Secret Superstar, is depicted in the image wearing beachwear and holding a surfboard. He included an inspiring note and a photo. He continued by identifying himself and Aamir as "Amar and Prem" in his note. In response to rumours that he and Aamir sir had a falling out, Advait wrote:
Mona Singh added much red heart emojis and the word "always" shortly after he uploaded the photo. Even star Zayn Marie, Aamir's niece, had nothing but love for them. Fans may be seen displaying their support. 'We absolutely love you both', a fan said. Another admirer wrote: "A fallout? But you made a great film. It was the public that let LSC down in theatres."
Aamir said during the promos that he would release his movie on an OTT platform six months after it hit theatres. However, it was ultimately released on Netflix on October 5th. It has since received attention on social media. Aamir and Kareena's efforts have received praise from online users. Social media users are asking such concerns, such as "Why did this movie fail at the box office?"
Aamir will supposedly next be seen on the job front in the RS Prasanna-directed remake of the Spanish film Campeones.
