Mahesh Babu's next movie, SSMB29, is already in the works, and casting has commenced. The next film billed as an adventurous action-drama, will be directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by KL Narayana.
According to recent reports, the filmmaker is very interested in casting Deepika Padukone in his next project and plans to approach the actress to explain the entire concept of the film. But she hasn't been contacted yet, and no formal confirmation has been provided.
The script was written by Rajamouli's father, K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, and is said to be based on true events. The film, tentatively named 'SSMB29,' is an adventure drama that will most likely begin production in the first half of 2023. According to media sources, this will be Deepika and Mahesh's first time working together.
Meanwhile, Deepika is working on another pan-India film dubbed 'Project K,' in which she will appear with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Suniel Shetty. Nag Ashwin is directing the film, which was delayed by a year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Deepika had previously been ill on the set of 'Project K,' and was brought to the hospital after her pulse rate jumped. The actress quickly healed and returned to filming. Prabhas is currently preparing for his forthcoming mythological film 'Adipurush,' in which he will co-star with Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.
