SS Rajamouli Discusses His Next Project With Mahesh Babu, Saying, 'It Will Be a Globetrotting Action Adventure.'

There is no secret that superstar Mahesh Babu would appear in SS Rajamouli's upcoming film. Although there hasn't been any information released regarding the movie, everyone is interested to see what the unconventional director will bring to the screen alongside the talented actor. Now, the director—who is now attending the Toronto International Film Festival—spoke publicly about his upcoming film on stage, sending the internet into a frenzy.

With RRR's enormous success, the master storyteller was given the opportunity to participate in TIFF, one of the biggest film festivals in the world. "My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots!" the RRR director remarked during a speech at the event. KV Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli's writer father, acknowledged in an interview that he and Mahesh Babu were considering the possibility of filming an African Jungle Adventure. There will be a ton of action, excitement, and drama in it. The remaining members of the film's cast and crew have not yet been confirmed. While it was previously reported that the film might start filming by the end of the year, Prasad now says that it won't since Mahesh Babu will be occupied with Trivikram Srinivas' SSMB28, which just started filming yesterday. "It’s a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country." Mahesh Babu recently opened up about his next film with Rajamouli.
