Sivakarthikeyan is keen on acquiring rights to Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The actor wants to make a Tamil remake and star in it. The official announcement is yet to arrive. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo follows the tale of Bantu (Allu Arjun) who grows up in a middle-class family, only to realizes later on that he is actually the son of a businessman. If rumors are true, Sivakarthikeyan will take on Allu Arjun's role.
Sivakarthikeyan is busy working on two of his projects. One of his projects is a science fiction thriller. The film titled Ayalaan follows the tale of a lost alien who befriends a human. Ravi Kumar is to direct the film. 24 Studios is all set to bankroll the film. 24 Studios took to Twitter to say, “Happy to have kick-started the last two schedules of our production no 5 after a brief gap; starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Ravi Kumar. Thanks to all those who supported us throughout.” The film will also star actors Rakul Preet Singh and Isha Koppikar. According to reports, Rakul Preet Singh will take on the role of an astronomer and Isha Koppikar, an assassin. A R Rahman will be composing the film's opening song. Nirav Sha is the film's cinematographer and Ruben the editor. The film's poster came out in February this year. The things go smoothly, the film might hit the theatres in December this year.
Sivakarthikeyan will also appear in the Tamil Comedy Doctor. Director Nelson will be directing the film.
