Since the beginning of the 21 day lockdown in the entire country Salman Khan is staying at his Panvel farmhouse with his sister, Arpita Khan Sharma and brother in law Aayush Sharma. Recently the actor expressed sadness over not being able to be with his father Salim Khan at the moment. He said that he has not seen his father for three weeks but he cannot leave his home. Now in an interview with Mumbai mirror Salim Khan has confirmed that he is in daily contact with his son Salman Khan through video call. In the interview Salim says, “Salman and Nirvaan can’t come here, so they are in Panvel. When they can come, they will. There also, they are at home and we are in constant touch over video calls.”
At the same time Salman Khan is also providing monetary help for 25000 daily wage cine workers for their necessities. Salim Khan recently also spoke about his family's contribution to daily wage earners. He said, "We’ve made provisions for those who work for us, including drivers and house help, besides giving them masks and sanitisers. There are many people who are struggling and we are doing our bit to help them, like getting food packets delivered to them."
Previously Salim Khan revealed that his whole family believes in philanthropy. He said, "But our family has a principle — hamara paisa jahan jaaye, wahan dikhna chahiye aur kisike kaam aana chahiye (our family has a principle that wherever they contribute family’s money, it should be of help to those who need it). (Since the past fortnight), we have been arranging meals for our building and Salman's security guards. We must all look after our staff."
